Transfers: URA FC closes in on Ikara pursuit

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have moved a step closer in their pursuit of KCCA FC goalkeeper Tom Ikara

Now deemed surplus to requirement at KCCA FC , Tom Ikara is expected  to join the Tax collectors early next week and will put pen to paper on a 3-year employment contract, having already finalized personal contract talks with the 4-times UPL champions.

Ikara spent last season on loan at Mbarara City FC  and featured in 20 games, conceding only 17 goals while keeping a cleansheet on 10 occasions.

At URA , he will compete with Nafian Alionzi, Samuel Mwaka and Michael Kagiri for a starting spot on who will be in between the sticks next season.
