Transfers: Two Ugandan midfielders seal moves to Ethiopian Premier League

Ugandan Midfielders, Nicholas Kasozi and Charles Musiige have completed their moves to the BetKing Ethiopian Premier League, TheTouchline Sports can understand.

Kasozi has joined Wolkite Kenema FC while Musiige has put pen to paper at DireDawa Kenema Football Club.

Wolkite finished 8th on the 16-team log last season with 38 points in 30 games while DireDawa narrowly survived relegation to the second tier after finishing 13th on the log with 33 points.

Musige and Kasozi joins the two Ethiopian Premier League clubs from Gadaffi Modern FC, a side they joined in August this year from Express FC.

Both Musiige and Kasozi caught the eye for Diredawa and Wolkite respectively during the recently concluded AmharaBank Tana Cup pre season tournament in Addis Ababa where Modern finished in third place.

The pair join Charles Lukwago ( St. George) is the other prominent Ugandan player plying his trade in Ethiopia’s top flight league.

The 2022/222 season of the Betking Ethiopian Premier League starts this Friday with Wolkite Kenema playing Arba Minch at the Bahr Dar University Stadium.
