Three English championship clubs have expressed interest in signing Ugandan defender Jordan Obita, according to the Sun.
The clubs in mention include; Derby County, Watford and Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old left back has been without a club since his contract with Reading FC expired at the end of last season.
Derby County and Watford have all been in the market for the last few weeks after losing Max Lowe (Sheffield United) and Jose Holebas (Olympiacos) respectively.
John Obita left the Royals having featured in 191 games in 10 years in all competitions and found the back on the net seven times.
Obita was born in Oxford town to Ugandan parents 26-years ago and has featured for all the England National team Under age groups ( U-18, U-19,U-20 and U-21).
It should be noted that the 2020 Transfer window will close today at 23:00 BST but a domestic-only window for English clubs is still open until 16th October 2020 at 17:00 BST.
