Express FC will host on form URA SC in the Startimes Uganda premier league at the Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Tuesday 25th, February.
Express were give a green light by the FUFA competitions committee to host their games at Muteesa II stadium after a period of four months playing their home games in various stadiums ( Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium in Wakiso and Kavumba recreational Stadium) . However the match against URA SC will be played behind closed doors “no fans will be allowed to access the stadium” due to their misconduct in the recent games.
URA under coach Sam Ssimbwa will visit Express with high Spirit after beating table leaders Vipers SC 3-1 in their last SUPL outing while Express FC under Wasswa Bbosa has also improved their game and are yet to lose a single game in the league under the new coach, winning one and a vital draw against tittle contenders KCCA FC.
URA SC sit in 4th position on the log with 37 points and have one of the best defense in the league, having conceded just 19 goals (only Vipers SC (15) has let in the fewer goals). Express are in the 11th position with 28 points with a poor backline letting in 35 goals in the league.
Sam Ssimbwa’s side will be without high flying winger Ojera Joachim who sustained an ankle injury in their last game while the Red Eagles have no major injury concern as goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga who sustained a knock in their last game,is also fit to play today.
