Vipers SC has returned to winning ways after they defeated Busoga United 4-1 on Saturday in Njeru.
Forwards Yunus Ssentamu, Ibrahim Oritand Ceasar Manzoki and defender Aziz Kayondo netted for Venoms while Ntege Anwar got the only goal for Busoga United.
Vipers got off to the worst possible start as Ntege converted from the spot after Halid Lwaliwa handled in the area, inside the opening two minutes.
Ten minute, Vipers responded with an equalizer with Ssentamu put his wonderful freekick past Busoga United’s goalkeeper Michael Nantamu to level matters.
The Venoms went ahead in just a blink of an eye with Orit heading in a Bright Anukani well delivered free kick.
The game went into the break with the visitors leading 2-1.
Manzoki extended the venoms lead few minutes into the second half, tapping in from close range.
Kayondo got Vipers fourth and last goal of the day just after the hour mark with a well taken strike from outside the box.
Vipers tried their level best to net more goals before the 90, but the game ended 4-1.
With three points, Vipers return to second spot, leapfrogging BUL FC who are also on 20 points but the venoms have a good goal difference. They will play Tooro United next.
While, Busoga United who remain 13th with seven points will play Police FC next away.
