Vipers put four past struggling Onduparaka in a Startimes Uganda Premier league game on Wednesday at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Milton Karisa was the starman of the day as he scored once and helped in the creativity section of the opening three goals.
The first goal for the Venoms was scored from the spot by Bright Anukani after a Watambala shot was handled by Gasper Adriko.
In the second goal, Watambala put the ball in the back of the net just seconds after Karisa drove the ball forward just to cross it just to end the half time 2-0.
The second half, Vipers still came on top as expected and with twelve minutes left on the clock, substitute Orit made it three in fashion, getting at the end of a Karisa layoff outside the box.
Before Karisa putting the icing on the cake with on minute to the 90th minute, both Watambala and Karisa missed glorious chances to extend our lead in the 85th minute.
The result took Vipers top of the log with 23 points in 11 matches. They will play Express FC next on Tuesday 13th December.
For the Steven Bogere coached, they remain bottom of the table with just two points in 11 games and will return home at the Greenlight Stadium in their next game where they will host Maroons on Sunday, 11th December.
In the other games of the day, SC Villa edged Blacks Power 1-0 in Lira while Maroons too beat Gaddafi at home 1-0.
