StarTimes UPL: SC Villa to host their next 5 league games in Lira

Record Uganda Premier League champions SC Villa will host their next five home games at the Aki Bua Memorial Stadium in Lira.

This follows the FUFA Competition Disciplinary Panel ruling last week which bared the Jogoos from hosting their home at Mutesa II Stadium, Wakulukuku due to fan hooliganism that occurred during their game with Wakiso Giants on November 11th.

The Jogoos were ordered to play their next five home games behind closed doors in a neutral ground beyond Kampala, Buganda and Eastern region and at a stadium already licenced for the 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches.

Now they have settled for Aki Bua Memorial Stadium, which also acts as the Home ground for newly promoted Blacks Power.

KCCA will be the first team hosted by Villa in Lira before Maroons, UPDF, Onduparaka and BUL FC

The Jackson Magera’s coached side sits fourth on the log with 14 points garnered after eight games.
