The match is set for a late kickoff at 6 pm, illuminated by the floodlights, promising a spectacle for football enthusiasts.

BUL concluded the first round perched atop the league table with 33 points, showcasing formidable strength with ten wins, three draws, and only two defeats to UPDF FC and Gaddafi FC.

Despite hints of fatigue surfacing towards the end of the initial phase, the timely break appears to have revitalized the squad, potentially placing them in prime condition to take on the Kasasiro Boys today.

Historically, BUL has faced challenges in the second round of previous seasons, making a victory crucial for them today as it would propel them to the top of the table, six points clear of second-placed Vipers at 30 points.

In the recent closing fixtures of the first round, BUL secured a 1-1 draw with Mbarara City at Njeru, while KCCA FC faced a setback, losing 2-1 to Wakiso Giants at Kabaka Kyabagu.

BUL enters the match aiming to sustain their commanding form, having triumphed in four of their last five games.

They encounter a KCCA side that, despite a challenging start to the season, has evolved into a resilient force, winning four of their recent five games.

However, KCCA finds themselves in 9th place with 19 points, showcasing the unpredictability of this encounter.

The previous face-off at the FUFA Technical Centre saw BUL emerge victorious with a narrow 1-0 win, courtesy of Nicholas Mwere’s decisive goal.

In the course of their last 24 meetings, KCCA has emerged victorious in 12 clashes, while BUL secured wins in 7 matches, with the remaining 7 games concluding in draws.

As BUL strives to accumulate crucial points to sustain their contention for the league title, historical statistics overwhelming position KCCA as the favorites, underscoring the significance of their past successes in shaping the anticipated outcome.

Notably, BUL last achieved a double against the Kasasiro Boys in the 2015/16 season.

A noteworthy highlight is BUL standing out among the top ten teams with the highest number of wins (10), while KCCA, despite enduring eight losses, boasts a prolific goal-scoring record with 26 goals, adding an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming encounter.

KCCA, the Lugogo stronghold has undergone a transformation, witnessing the team secure victories in their last four home games against formidable opponents like Vipers, Gaddafi, Bright Stars, and URA.

During this impressive run, they scored 15 goals and conceded merely four, underscoring their resurgence and intensifying the anticipation surrounding this impending clash.
