From their recent defeats to Vipers SC, Police FC, SC Villa and their opponents today, the host Tooro will have no excuse and choice than to win in order to save their season in their quest to put a stop on their poor performance when they host an inconsistent Onuparaka FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 16 game at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.

The visitors suffered a two point deduction and two goals which saw them drop in red zone before the first round break but as of now following Bright Star’s one all draw against Express at Kavumba yesterday. A win for them will be so much of a relief as they will stretch a two-point gap to five breather from relegation as they will be able to move up to the 11th position.

Tooro have gone thirteen matches without a win, their last win and only win of the season came in October last year, beating Mbarara City 1-0 and since then they have lost 13 and drawn once.

The Caterpillars will be looking forward to securing another victory against bottom-placed Tooro United and . They beat the Fort Portal based side in the first leg at AbaBet stadium in Arua earlier on in the season.

A win, which looks far from reach to the hosts, will not only be a godly sent motivator and a confidence booster but will also be a life saver which can bring their hope of relegation survival to life in order to avoid what happened to them two seasons ago when they were relegated to big league.

Their last meeting came on 8th January, 2022 at the Greenlight AbaBet Stadium in Arua where the caterpillar secured a 4-2 victory, in a game  Tooro failed to raise a proper squad of players due to reports of lack of funds to pay the players and lack of coach for the same issues.

Team News.
Onduparaka will miss assistant captain Rashid Okocha who is still serving his five-month suspension, and Rashid Agau still on injury.

Muhamed Shaban is likely to play despite picking a knock in their last game against KCCA, which forced his substitution  in the 74th minute and so as Baden Mujahid who played only the first 77 minutes of their last game.

For Tooro United, they will be without Marvin Oshaba who moved to Police FC, but will be bolstered by the arrival of head coach Ibrahim Kirya.

While Shafiq Kakeeto will again need a late fitness test following complication in his joint.
