StarTimes UPL: Police holds URA in Ndejje

Bottom-placed Uganda Premier League side Police managed to hold URA to a goalless stalemate at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje University.

In a cagey game where chances were far and between form each other, URA was the better side but struggled to create enough goalscoring chances upfront.

Their best chance fell to Steven Mukwala, but the forward missed from close range after he was set up by Living Kabon.

Where also Saidi Kyeyune and Joachim Ojera had a few decent half chances.

Police was so blunt upfront as the forward-line of Juma Balinya and Brian Mululi look more of nonexistent throughout the game.

The point picked against URA is Police second point of the season in eight games, having collected their first in the 0-0 draw with Mbarara City in the last game.

While the draw put URA in seventh place on the log with 11 points in 6 games.

URA will return to action on Friday with a trip to Jinja to take on Busoga United at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Police will host Gadaffi FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
