Forward Allan Okello scored the winner for KCCA FC as they edged past Gaddafi FC in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Lugogo on Tuesday.

Okello’s goal came in the 79th minute with the game destined for a 1-all stalemate.

KCCA had a bright start to the game as Brian Majwega put them ahead with a wonderful strike from over 40-yards that travelled past Crispus Kusiima in the third minute.

Just before the break, Alex Kitata cancelled out Majwega’s opener- colleting a pass from Brian Kalumba to beat Benjamin Ochan at the near post.

Before that equalizer though, KCCA had a couple of chances to double their advantage but Rogers Mato and Muhammad Ssenonga both failed to find the target.

With 11 minutes left on the clock, Okello produced a moment of magic to win it for the Kasasiro Boys. The little magician reacted first onto a loose ball outside the box to send in a ferocious shot past Kusiima and into the back of the net.

With the victory, KCCA move to third place on the log with 19 points garnered in nine games. They also remain unbeaten at home this season.

For Gaddafi, they drop to ninth place with 12 points.

KCCA play Onduparaka FC next while Gaddafi play Vipers.
