There will be a lot to play for in this game like the top spot for KCCA FC and an uplift for the Red Eagles but mostly importantly Pride on each side.

KCCA FC sit 3rd on the log with 22 points after 10 games but the visiting Express poses the biggest threat to Morley Byekwaso’s men however much the Red Eagles haven’t been consistent.

The Kasisiro boys have been next to excellent against big teams after beating Vipers in Lugogo, SC Villa in Lira recently drawing with URA FC.

All eyes will be Shaban Muhammad who returned to action with a goal on the last match day against his former team Onduparaka FC in Bombo.

KCCA FC’s best weapon this season has been the ease with which they find collect wins but in Express, they face a team that has a fairly good defense but don’t score in absenture of Allan Kayiwa.

“We know what is at stake and we want to win. If we focus on playing well, we know the results will come. We need to focus on our principles and if we get that right on the day then we shall win.”

On the other hand, the Red Eagles have struggled this season losing their last three straight games(Bright Stars 0-2, Wakiso Giants 3-2 and Arua Hill 0-1)

Without putting their hopes to bed, the Wankulukuku side will still ride on their hard work with prayer that it pays off.

The side continues to be without their best player Allan Kayiwa and will to somewhere else for motivation in games.

But hope to look to Hussein Ssenoga, Enock Ssebagala, Anwar Ntege and Joseph Akwandanaho for creativity and goals.

James Odoch the Express FC head coach talked to the club media ahead of the game and said;

“The players have been responding well to the tactics and I am hopeful we shall win because losing a fourth straight game will not be good for us.”

“I know how good a team KCCA is with brilliant players the likes of Allan Okello and Moses Waiswa and equally a fantastic coach Morley Byekwaso but we shall be looking for maximum points.”

The Red Eagles sit 9th on the table with 14 points after 10 games (4W, 2D, 4L)
