Seven-time Uganda Premier League champions Express FC have confirmed their squad shirt numbers ahead of the new 2022/23 season.
The reveal squad consists of 26 players, including the new 15 new signing acquired in the previous transfer window.
Three youngster who were promoted from the Red Eagles junior team have also included and handed shirt numbers.
Young goalkeeper David Lukwago has been handed shirt number 1, which was previously donned by Joel Mutakubwa
Abdul Kimera takes up Enock Ssebagala’s 28 as Ssebagala has taken up John Byamukama’s shirt 8.
Former Vipers players Joseph Dhata and Allan Kayiwa will don shirt 2 and 17 respectively, Martin Oshaba will put on 20 while Anwar Mustafa Ntege will take up shirt 9, which was previously worn by Mustafa Kiragga.
Another new signing, Yusuf Ssozi has been handed shirt 7, previously worn by Eric Kambale who departed the club for Al Merrikh.
The Red Eagles will start their 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season against UPDF at the Bombo Barracks Military Playground on Saturday, 1st October.
