A balanced match up it was as BUL FC hosted NEC FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup at Njeru Technical centre on Sunday.

Joseph Dhata scored a 54th minute second half crucial away goal to help NEC FC draw one-all away after Jerome Kirya had put the Eastern Giants ahead in the 17th minute.

Dhata, currently a top scorer in the tournament with five goals in the Stanbic Uganda Cup will hope to help his side get over the line in the season half.

Once again, the two sides will face off in the return leg at MTN Omondi Stadium on Saturday, 4th May.

For Kitara, who cruised 3-1 past Pajule Lions at Masindi Municipal Stadium on Saturday, they will travel to Pajule Primary School Grounds on Sunday, 5th May to face off in the return leg.
