A provisional Sand Cranes squad has named by the Uganda National Beach Soccer head coach Salim Muwonge Jamal ahead of the upcoming COSAFA Beach Soccer Tournament in Durban.
The squad which comprises of 20 players was revealed on Wednesday afternoon by Muwonge and will start residential training on Friday, 2nd September 2022 at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Most of the players that took part in the AFCON qualification games against Comoros have been included together with two new faces in Bernard Ndifuna (Kiringente BSC) and Peter Mukwata ( Mutoola BSC).
The COSAFA Tournament will be held between 17th -25th September in South Africa.
This tournament will be used to prepare the Ugandan side ahead of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations finals in Maputo, Mozambique slated for October this year.
