Cromwell Rwothomio: Deadly forward becomes Vipers’ ninth addition this window

Uganda Revenue Authority striker Cromwell Rwothomio has completed his move to StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.

He was unveiled by the club on Wednesday evening after putting pen to paper on a three-year employment contract until the end of the 2024/25 season.

“I’m very happy to be here at a big club. I have played against Vipers SC several times. I saw that it was a big club with passionate supporters. It’s a really great club, I hope to be very successful here,” said Rwothomio in his first interview with Vipers’ media.

“I know it is going to be a lot of hard work, but I am ready to do everything I can to get the most amount of minutes as possible.”

Rwothomio had spent four seasons at URA FC, featuring in 77 Uganda Premier League games in total and scoring 35 times.

Last season, he featured in 24 games in all competitions and scored 14 goals as the Tax Collectors finished third on the log.

He has also previously featured at Packwach Young Stars and Paidha Black Angels.

Rwothomio becomes Vipers’ ninth addition this window after Alfred Mudekereza, Olivier Osomba, Ashraf Mandela, Isa Mubiru, Marvin Youngman, Murushid Juuko, Abdu Lumala and Abubakar Lawal.
