Ugandan youngster Sadat Anaku netted a hattrick for Dundee United B side as they came from behind to defeat Young Queens Park 5-2 in a pre-season game played at Lonchinch on Tuesday afternoon.

Anaku’s first came in the 34th minute when he ran into a through ball from midfield to chip it past Queen’s Heraghty and level matters for Dundee.

Two minutes afterwards, Anaku got his second of the game when he received a cross from the right to calmly place it beyond the on-rushing Heraghty and into the back of the net.

With 10 minutes played into the second half, the Ugandan striker completed his hattrick after he received an excellent ball from Mathew Anim to pounce in from close range and extend his side’s lead to 4-1.

Anim, Nick Clark and Kai Fotheringham got Dundee United’s other goals to secure the emphatic victory on the day.

Another Ugandan, Enock Walusimbi also featured for Dundee United B side on the day.

Walusimbi in action

This is the first game Anaku and Walusimbi have featured in since they completed their moves to the club last week.

Anaku is expected to be promoted to the senior side while Walusimbi will be loaned out to another club in Scotland.
