Review: Mike Walaga’s brace inflicts 1st loss on Lugazi Municipal


Mike Walaga guided Busuula SC to their second victory of the season as they came from a goal down to win 2-1 as they ended Lugazi Municipal’s winning streak in match day 5 of the Buganda Regional League.

The Visitors opened up the score through Ssentongo Deo in the 17th minute before Mike Walaga levelled the matters at the break.

Mike scored again in the dying moments to keep Busuula fouth on the table with their second victory of the season while Lugazi Municipal remains on top of Ssezibwa group table  with twelve points.

Elsewhere, Kawuma Henry and Kikabi Ronald’s goals were enough to propell Kajjansi United to Victory as they swat Busuula SC aside in a 2-0 home win.

In Masaka , Masaka City FC are yet to register a single win this season following a 1-1 draw with Buwambo United FC today at Masaka Recreation Grounds. Nsimbe Badru Jibril scored for the hosts while Ntege Ahmed scored for the visitors.
