The Uganda men’s football team, the Cranes is set to fly out to Cameroon today, Monday 28th December ahead of the Pre-CHAN tournament scheduled for 1st- 7th January 2021.
The Cranes contingent that includes 25 players and 14 officials is expected to take a flight to Cameroon from Entebbe International Airport on Monday afternoon at 3pm EAT aboard the Ethiopian Airlines.
There has been a change as reported earlier with Sadiq Wassa being drafted into the travelling team as the goalkeeping coach, which casts aside Vipers SC manager, Fred Kajoba.
Uganda will take part in a Pre-CHAN tournament which will involve the hosts Cameroon, Niger and Zambia, organized to shape players and hosts ahead of tournament.

Uganda, who will be taking part in their fifth consecutive CHAN tournament after featuring in the 2011, 2014, 2016, and 2018 editions, will face Rwanda on January 18 at the Stade de Unification in Douala, before facing Togo on January 22 at the same venue.
The final group game will be on January 26 against Morocco.
