Pool: Bwanika and Mutesi enjoy top spots in Pool rankings


Mansoor Bwanika and Mutesi Rashida, the reigning champions of the Kampala Open championship in the men and women were announced top of the rankings of their respective players for their respective categories on the 17th Pool Association of Uganda general meeting held at Pearl Highway Hotel on Sunday 19th January 2020.

The 2018 champion managed to secure enough points as he defeated Mustafa Bwire of Capital Nite Pool club 7-4 in the finals of the Kampala open held this month.
Mansoor is also the reigning Temuseo Open and National Open champion and leads the rankings with 16.77 points ahead of Chadinga Ceaser with 15.82 points in the second place.

Mutesi Rashida the defending champion of the Kampala Open championship also leads the rankings of the ladies category after breaking the dominance of experienced Ritah Nimusiima and Vicky Namuyanja while defending the championship she won in November 2018.

Mutesi Rashida gathered 17.43 points to lead the ladies rankings ahead of Zaimatt Nabafu on 14.99 points.
