Transfers: Samatta’s EPL move calls for hardwork from Ugandan players.

Tanzania ‘s Mbwana Ally Samatta put pen on paper on four and half years contract at top English side Aston Villa. The Striker joined the English club from Belgium top flight side Genk on Monday evening.

This has over whelmed the ears of Ugandan football fans asking more from their players that play their trend in the Startimes Uganda Premier League. Samatta’s signature is also a sign of hard work and patience to Ugandan player that try their luck outside the SUPL.

Ugandan fans are left asking question about Uganda footballers who can’t make the cut and cross to the number one  followed league  across the globe. Neigbours,  Kenya have  Victor Wanyama at Tottenham and now Mbwana Samatta at Aston Villa have made the cut yet Uganda who are  ranked no.1 in the CECAFA has none in the EPL.

Mbwana Samatta, who is the Tanzanian national team skipper was part of TP Mazembe team that lifted the 2015 CAF champions league, in a tournament where he emerged as top scorer.
