KCCA FC duo of Davis Kasirye and Morley Byekwaso have been voted the best player and coach respectively for October at the Pilsner Uganda Premier League Awards.
The duo were awarded on Thursday morning at Kati Kati – Taking home a plague and Shs.1m.
Kasirye scored three goals in four games in the month of October, a goal each against Wakiso Giants, Gaddafi FC and Tooro United.
He beat Vipers SC striker Caesar Manzoki and KCCA goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan to the gong.
Meanwhile, Byekwaso guided his side to four wins in four game they played during the month of October.
He beat off competition from Vipers tactician Roberto Oliveira who managed two wins and one draw in three games.
