The semifinal lineup for the Pepsi University Football League has been confirmed following the draw held on Good Friday at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.
The last four teams will see Kampala University face YMCA Comprehensive, while Muteesa I Royal University take on St. Lawrence University in two-legged encounters.
St. Lawrence University booked their place with a commanding 5-1 aggregate win over Ndejje University, while Muteesa I Royal University edged out defending champions Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi on away goals after a 2-2 aggregate draw.
In the other tie, Kampala University progressed past Bugema University on away goals following a 1-1 aggregate stalemate. They will meet YMCA Comprehensive, who reached their first-ever semifinal after defeating Kumi University 2-1 on aggregate.
Kampala University, winners in 2013 and 2016, will host the first leg against YMCA on Tuesday, April 7, with the return leg set for Buwambo the following week.
Muteesa I Royal University will host St. Lawrence University in the first leg on Thursday, April 9, before the decisive return fixture at Kavule.
The stage is now set for two thrilling semifinal battles as teams vie for a place in the final.
