Oliveira, Vipers part ways


On Thursday afternoon, it was made official that Brazilian tactician Rorberto Oliveira and Uganda premier League side Vipers SC have parted ways with

This was communicated on the Club’s website with a statement ;

“Vipers Sports Club announces that Mr. Roberto Oliveira alias Robertinho has left his role as the head coach with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Robertinho for his tireless efforts as the head coach during his time at the club and wish him success in the future.

The Club shall in the shortest time possible come out with a statement on the technical bench leadership following the coach’s departure.

We remain One Team One Dream.”

Oliviera Joined the Vipers in August 2021, replacing Fred Kajoba who was head coach at that time.

His first achievement was winning the Uganda Cup where the Venoms thumped 8-1 then went on to win the 2021/22 Uganda premier League.

Further more helped the Kitende based side qualify into the CAF champions League group stages for the first time in history.

It is believed that Roberto Oliviera might be joining one of Tanzania’s top sides in Simba.
