Official: Fazila Ikwaput returns to India Women top flight League club

Crested Cranes star striker, Fazila Ikwaput returned to India Women top flight League side.

Ikwaput has joined Gokulam Kerala FC from the Fufa women super league champions, Kampala Queens.

The 27 year old striker had spent only a quarter of her two year contract at Kampala Queens after joining the champions  from  Cyprus’ Omonia Nicosia in the 2023 summer.

The 2022 and 2023 CAF Women’s player of the year nominee has also played for Olilia High School, Lady Doves which she guided to FUFA women’s super league championship, Kerala Blasters in India and BIIK Kazygurt in Kazakhstan.

In a league of 13 teams , Ikwaput finds Gokulam Kerala laying in 6th position with 17 points out of 11 games.

They have gathered 4 wins, 5 draws and 2 loses in the season.
