Nominations for the Pilsner UPL players and coaches of month revealed

Pilsner has shortlisted a list of 3 players and coaches of which the one who stood out in the month of September and October in the star times Uganda premier league

Denis Omedi of Kitara fc, Fred Amaku of Maroons and Alex Kitata of Bul are the three shortlisted players while Brain Ssenyondo of Kitara fc, Abbey Bogere of Bul FC and Hussein Mbalangu of NEC FC are the three shortlisted coaches.

Denis Omedi of Kitara fc who was also the top scorer of the 2023/24 Fufa Big league while playing for Booma fc has scored 3 goals in the first five games of the Uganda premier league this season of which some have come against the league gaints SC Villa, KCCA fc helping his team secure 15points in 5 games as well as topping the league.

Alex Kitata of Bul FC has inspired his club’s 100 percent performance in the first 5 games of season scoring 3 goals and helping them stay in the second position with 15 points.

Fred Amaku has contributed 3 goals for Maroons in the first 5 games of the season so far in including a brace against KCCA fc at Lugogo helping them stay in the 7th position with 8 points.

Coach Brian Ssenyondo of Kitara fc has inspired the “Royals” maximum points of the season in the 5 games played, a record performance for the new entrants of ugandan top tier league.

NEC FC head coach, Hussein Mbalangu has managed to collect 12 points out of 5 games only losing 3-0 against SC Villa at Wankulukuku. The former Blacks Power fc tactician has currently led uganda premier league debutants to the third position behind Kitara and Bul by only 3 points.

Nominees for coaches.

Abbey Bogere Kikomeko of Bul FC has had a great performance for the “Eastern Giants” in the month of September and October, securing maximum points out of the 5 games played including wins against tough opponents, KCCA fc and SC Villa.

This will be the first time the Pilsner awards are being awarded in the 2023/24 season of the uganda premier league.
