FUFA Disciplinary Committee bans Mulanda for twelve games

A few days after suspending Wakiso Giants defender Bashir Asiku and URA FC captain Enock Walusimbi, the FUFA Disciplinary Panel(FDP) has suspended Busoga United captain Charles Sunday Mulanda.

Mulanda has been suspended for 10 games in addition of the initial two after his Red card to make it 12 matches after headbutting a referee in 97th minute of the Uganda Premier League match against Gaddafi FC on 24th October 2023 at Gaddafi Arena-Jinja.

In addition to the 12-game ban, FDP who sanctioned Mulanda Charles Sunday awarded the player with a fine of 500,000/= for breach of FUFA Competitions rules and Article 13(1) and Article 14(3)(vi) of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code.
