Noah Kizito: Kataka player banned for six months

After close to two months, FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has banned Kataka player Noah Kizito for his ‘unsporting behavior’ exhibited in their FUFA Big League game against Kyetume on 28 April 2022 at Mbale Municipal Stadium.

This new development was confiy by the FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel on Thursday evening .

In that said match, Noah attacked and harassed opponent Baker Buyala in the close stages of the game that Kataka lost 3-2.

As a result for his misconduct in that game, FUFA through their Competitions Disciplinary Panel has suspended the Kataka attacker from all football activities for a period of six months that will start at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

Furthermore his club, Kataka FC have been ordered to play their first five matches behind closed doors outside the Bugisu Province, on a neutral stadium cleared by the Club Licensing Committee for use during FUFA Big League matches.

Kataka has also been deducted two points and two goals from next season’s tally.
