No Hebert Achai, No Emmanuel Loki as KCCA unveil 2024/25 squad

With Uganda Premier League campaign set to kick off this Friday on the 13th September at Phillip Omondi Stadium against URA FC.

On Tuesday evening, KCCA FC officially unveiled their squad for the 2024/25 season with a colorful low key presentation.

Before the presentation, KCCA showcased their new home & away Jersey for the season.

KCCA Legends winning 6-0 thanks to goals from Willy Kavuma, Yusuf Kinene, Patrick Ssenfuka, Robert Ssentongo, Moses Musoke and Simon Okwi.

On the squad.

After a number of reports indicating the absenture of Herbert Achai, it was brought to light that the player and Club haven’t yet found a common ground after he was not sighted at the unveiling.

Emmanuel Loki is the other name who continues to raise people’s eye brows but the two still have their shirt numbers intact.

Long serving skipper Julius Poloto retained  the Clubs Captaincy as he will be assisted by Filbert Obenchan, Mustafa Mujuzi, Arafat Usama and Ashraf Mugume.

Sammy Ssebadduka, Sharifu Ssengendo, Derrick Nsibambi and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza are the significant signings confirmed by the club.
