Mustafa Kizza snubs North Africa for Express FC

Roving Left-back Mustafa Kizza chose to join Express Football Club on a one-year employment contract over a number of North African clubs.

Despite the intrest from Clubs like Wydad Casablanca and Club African, the experienced wing back decided to join Express as a Free Agent after he run down his contract at KCCA.

Kizza is who known for his forward runs fused with delivery of dangerous crosses is expected to have more playing time at Express under Baker Mbowa who is well versed with his ability .

The Former Kibuli SS and KCCA FC wing back has also played for Montreal Impact in the USA and FC Arouca in Portugal.

At Express he joins a host of new additions ahead of the upcoming league season like former teammate Emmanuel Alex Wasswa.

Other signings include experienced Saidi Kyeyune, returnees Derrick Ngoobi and Daniel Shabena, attacking midfielder Rashid Kawawa, forward Sam Ssenyonjo, two goalkeepers Emmanuel Kalyowa and Michael Kagiri.

Thé Red Eagles will kick off their league campaign at home (Nakivubo Stadium) against new comers Mbale Heroes on Saturday, September 14th.
