Mugulusi wanted back in Greece

Makedonikos Football Club in Greece want Uganda Hippos Captain Isma Mugulusi back at the Club from national team duty immediately ahead the upcoming CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers in Sudan.

This was brought forward by the Club’s General Manager, Pavlakos Georgious due to the busy schedule this upcoming season in the Betsson Super League(League 2 in Greece) that is set to start on Sunday 6th November 2022.

This was all expressed by the Greek Club in an email that was sent to the Federation of Uganda Football Association CEO Mr Edgar Watson dated Friday 28th October 2022.

Mugulusi joined the side early this month from  Sports Club Villa in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and is currently with the Uganda Hippos (U20) team in Sudan where they are preparing to take part in the CECAFA U2O Zonal Qualifiers.

Originally the tournament was to set to kick off on Saturday 22nd to 3rd November but now will start on Friday 28th October will act as a qualifier for the 2023 CAF Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations set  to be played in Egypt.

Uganda is in Group B alongside Tanzania and Ethiopia. They will play their opening game against Ethiopia.
