Startimes UPL: Onduparaka hope to take advantage of Express as KCCA visit Maroons

The Uganda Premier League Matchday five(5) will continue on Friday with four fixtures but let’s look at two of the four games.

Onduparaka FC VS Express FC

Onduparaka will welcome Express to their new home in Bombo at the Barracks Ground in the  Uganda Premier League game on Friday.

In a match that will be played in the absence of the Caterpillars fans, Onduparaka will hope to get a hold of all the three points after drawing their last two games.

Heading into this fixture, the Arua side’s happiness and worry factors can be that Onduparaka have not conceded a goal and not scored in their three games played this season respectively (against URA FC, SC Villa and Gaddafi Modern.)

The Club’s Assistant Coach Juma Ssekiziyivu said the team will play the game for the fans;

We are missing our fans and we shall play the game for them though we have taken long without winning and scoring but by God’s grace I think the goals are going to come and I think the result will be positive.”

On talking about the goal crisis;

The homework has been about scoring and sharpening our strikers and everybody is ready to play.

On the otherside, the visitors Express will hope to to lift themselves up from the ground as they try to increase on their goal tally after two games without a win.

The Red Eagles will hope that their forwards led by Allan Kayiwa will turn up on the day like he did in the first two games of the season.

Express Head Coach James Odoch confirms that his side has prepared well;

Onduparaka is a good team considering their record against Express, they are very stubborn when they face us,”

We have prepared well to see that we win the game because we want to bounce back from our two games winless run”.

Last game

Onduparaka drew their last game with Gaddafi just like Express with the same opposition.

What will a win do?
