Soltilo Bright Stars’ mercurial midfielder Mahad Kisekka has undergone successful knee surgery in Morocco where he went after a nagging injury persisted, despite sitting out almost the entire 2019/20 season.
Kisekka, a playmaker commonly referred to as Messi for his exploits on the ball sustained the injury during the team’s last training in preparation for their game against Bumate in the 2019/20 Uganda Cup round of 32.
He traveled to Morocco under an arrangement that would see his manager Tendo Nictah Musoke secure a link up with Soltilo Bright Stars’ former player Nelson Ssenkatuka.
The Process involved liaising with his former teammate Nelson Ssenkatuka who now plies his trade in Morocco with Moghreb Tétouan in the Morocco Premier League to secure him medical attention in Morocco.
