The Lions Sports Academy has unveiled their second shirt sponsor in less than 2 months.
Two months after unveiling SAP General Hardware as their first shirt sponsor, Lions Sports Academy on Tuesday evening unveiled Kyosha Electronics as their second shirt sponsor
Kyosha Electronics and The Lions has signed a 3- year sponsorship deal worthy Shs.2m per year and will join Sap General Hardware as the club’s shirt sponsors
Kyosha Electronics logo will appear in front of the Lions shirt and the word Kyosha will appear behind the number of the shirt.
Speaking to the media, the CEO of Lions Sports Academy, Ronald Alonso said he was delighted about the sponsorship and also hinted about the new academy rules and regulations
“The new academy rules and regulations set up by FUFA are a good strategy to go through as it will affect many of the youth teams in Uganda. Football is no longer for leisure and please, so we need to start structuring for the business angle of the beautiful game” Ronald Alonso said.
About the Lions Sports Academy
The Lions Sports Academy was founded in 2018 by a football fan and lover, Ronald Alonso in Ntungamo district.
The Academy started with only 20 kids but now accommodates more than 250 children aged 3 to 17 years.
They have participated in various tournament since their formation including the 2018 Airtel Rising Stars regionals in Bushenyi where they came second in the U-17 boy’s tournament.
They also graced the 9th edition of the annual Entebbe Christmas Netball and Soccer Holiday Soccer Camp held at Nkumba Kataka and Nkumba University play grounds where in the U-9 Catergory, they were quarter-finalists while lost in finals in the U-13 and U-15 categories.
