Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC has confirmed the departure of midfielder Lawrence Bukenya.
On Sunday evening during the club’s TV show on Sanyuka TV, the Kasasiro Boys confirmed that the Defensive midfielder had left the club to join Wakiso Giants on a permanent basis.

The 21-year old is a product of the KCCA FC Soccer Academy and was promoted into the senior side in 2017, before making his debut in the club’s win over Lungujja Galaxy in the Uganda Cup.
Due to stiff competition at the Lugogo based club, Bukenya was sent out on loan to Wakiso Giants to get more playing time and featured in 20 games in all competitions for the Purple Sharks.
At KCCA FC, Lawrence Bukenya won two League and two Uganda Cup titles, and the 2019 CECAFA Kagame Club Championship.
