Transfers: Kitara FC unveil Ssimbwa as new head coach

Kitara FC have unveiled Sam Ssimbwa Bamweyana as their new head coach to the club’s fans at Kigaaya play grounds, Hoima on Sunday afternoon.

Simbwa 56, joins the Hoima based side following the team’s fall out with coach, Mark Twinamatsiko early this year.

The former URA Head coach who has coached several teams like KCCA FC, Simba, Police and SC Villa will be tasked with bringing the team back to the top flight.

He will be assisted by George lutalo as the first assistant coach and Hamza Muwonge as goal keeping coach.

Big league club also unveiled their four January signings to their fans at Kigaaya play grounds, Hoima on Sunday.

Paul Mucureezi, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Farouk katongole and George Ssenkaba are the four players that were unveiled to the fans during a friendly match which Kitara won 3-1 against Kagadi United FC.

Kitara FC are currently the table leaders of the FUFA Big league, second tier of Ugandan professional football with 31 points.

The Bunyoro pride are looking forward to making a comeback to the Startimes Uganda premier league.
