Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) will play Rwandese giants’ AS Kigali in the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
This is after AS Kigali defeated Botswana’s Orapa United 1-0 in Kigali to progress to the next round on away goals rule following a 2-1 loss in the first leg in Botswana.
The Kasasiro Boys who were given a bye in the first round will travel to Kigali, Rwanda for the first leg encounter between 22nd- 23rd December before returning home for the second leg scheduled between 5th and 6th January 2021.
KCCA FC will be targeting to reach the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup once again, having achieved the same feat in 2017.
The Kasasiro Boys finished third in group A on nine points, three behind Club Africain and the same with FUS Rabat, though the Moroccan club had a superior goal difference.
