Kajjansi United midfielder on the verge of completing move to Masaza Cup defending champions

Kajjansi United midfielder Badru Kabanda is on the verge of completing his move to Masaza Cup defending champions Buddu Ssaza Football Team.

The midfielder, who guided Kajjansi United to the Buganda Regional final ( where they lost 1-0 to Lugazi FC) is close to agreeing contract terms with the two-time Masaza Champions.

Busiro Ssaza Football Team have also offered Kabanda a new contract, but the midfielder has opted to join Buddu instead at the ongoing 2022 Masaza Cup.

Kabanda has also played for Buwekula, Bululi, Gomba and recently Busiro in Masaza Cup.

In club football, he has in the past played for KJT, Ggangu Rangers, Nawanku FC, Kiboga Young and Kajjansi United.

The midfielder also came close to joining the then StarTimes Uganda Premier League side Mbarara City FC but the move fell through at the last hour.

The 2022 season of the Airtel Masaza Cup kicked off last weekend with a goalless opener between Buddu and Mawokota in Masaka.
