Jane Asinde hints on her next move this year

Uganda women’s national basketball team captain Jane Asinde returned to JkL Lady Dolphins for a short three months stint in preparation for the NBL playoffs.

The experienced forward then arriving from USA based UTEP women’s basketball team helped JKL defend their league title on Sunday night after a game six win that put series against UCU to bed with a 4-2 lead, a fourth championship in the club’s history.

Amidst the celebrations, Asinde hinted on a het next move;

“I’m going to play my first pro basketball for a club in China.” – She said, during an interview with CK Sports.

However, Asinde didn’t disclose her new club’s name but she leaves behind two Ugandan players at UTEP, Abby Priscilla and Mary Moses Amaniyo.
