Uganda defender Isaac Isinde was on target as his side, Hadiya Hossana defeated Adama Kenema 2-1 at the Addis Ababa Stadium to go top of the Ethiopian Premier League.
The 29-year old former Busoga United defender got on the scoresheet in the 36th minute when his slight touch onto Salifu Fofana’s headed attempt found the back of the net to give his side a well deserved halftime lead.
In the 68th minute, Isinde’s first half strike was cancelled out by Abera, but just two minutes afterwards former Adama city forward Dawa Hotesa restored Hossana’s lead from the penalty spot.
Salifou Fofana netted Hossana’s third in the 88th minutes to ensure the Hosaena collected maximum from the game.
Isaac Isinde has now found the back of the net twice in his club’s opening four games, having also netted against Sidama Bunna, few days ago .
Hadiya Hossana now moves to the top of the Ethiopian Premier League on 12 points, having collected maximum points in their opening four games.
Their next opponents will be Wolkite Ketema on Thursday 7th January at the Addis Ababa Stadium.
