Erisa Ssekisambu joins Tarxien Rainbows F.C. in Malta

Former KCCA FC and Cranes forward Erisa Ssekisambu has completed a move to Maltese Premier League side Tarxien Rainbows F.C.

The 26-year old joins Tarxien on a one-year employment contract with an option for an extension of a further year.

Ssekisambu, who netted four times last season, was officially released by KCCA FC in August 2020 after running down his contract at the Lugogo based side.

Ssekisambu has had successful stints at four of Uganda’s biggest clubs; Sports Club Villa, KCCA FC, URA FC, Express and Vipers as well as Kenya’s Gor Mahia.

He won three Uganda Cup gold medals in three consecutive years at three different clubs, URA (2014), SC Villa (2015), and Vipers in 2016.

His new side, Tarxien sits third bottom in the 16-team log, having garnered just 12 points in their opening 12 games this season.
