Futsal Super league set to resume in less than a fortnight

After months of uncertainties, the Uganda Futsal Super league is set to kickoff in less than fortnight.

This development was confirmed via the Futsal Association of Uganda website on Wednesday morning.

“The National Futsal Leage-FSL is expected to kick off in less than a fortnight whilst an affirmative action futsal tournament themed “Ensuring girl child safety through the game” is also scheduled for 22nd May.” Part of the confirmation published by FAU read.

This season’s league will consist of 8 clubs, two more than those who featured in the 2019-20 league.

The eight teams are Mengo Futsal Club, Kabowa Futsal Club,Synergy Futsal Club, Kisenyi Futsal Club, Big Talent Futsal Club, Aidenal Futsal Club,KJT Futsal Club and Park Futsal Club.

This will be the fourth edition of the Futsal Super League since the establishment in 2017. Dream won the inaugural edition in May 2018 while Yeak Kabowa won the second.
