FUFA to sip on Nivana for the next three years

The Federation of  Uganda Association (FUFA) have entered into a partnership with Nivana Packaged Drinking Water.

This was officially announced on Wednesday morning after a memorandum of understanding was signed between FUFA and Nivana at the FUFA House, Mengo.

Nivana will become the official Water partner for FUFA for the next three years

The partnership costs Ushs. 500 million and will cover all the 8 Uganda National Football Teams.

Nivana is a product of Crown Beverages Limited (CBL), one of the biggest beverage company in Uganda

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Timothy Luzinda, the Head of Marketing Crown Beverages Limited said that Crown Beverages takes pride in being involved in activities that speak directly to passion points of it’s customers and sports is one of them.

“Ugandan football is at the heart of all Ugandans whether or not they are avid sports lovers. Additionally, for a long time now, we have been at the forefront of supporting Ugandan football as and when need arose” Luzinda said before adding

“However today, we go a step further in legitimizing our support through a long-term partnership with FUFA, that will see our Nivana brand become the official refreshment partner for the next three years ”

While FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo in his remarks thanked CBL for this major milestone and it’s continued support towards Uganda Sport.

“Nivana has always been a partner of the association, this step is however key in formalising the existing relationship and in setting terms of agreement for both of us” Magogo said.

FUFA now has more than eight sponsors that are led by Airtel Uganda, NIC and Nile Beverages.
