The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) has on Wednesday morning launched the FUFA Women Inter Region tournament.
It was launched by the FUFA president Moses Magogo in an event held at FUFA house in Mengo.
This will be the first edition of the Women FUFA Drum tournament aimed at taking the beautiful women game to the masses in Uganda.
It will played between 8 regions of Uganda and will be managed by the FUFA regulations and rules.
All games will be played at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru in a group stages format.
Western, Buganda, Northern and Eastern have been pitted in group A while West Nile, Kampala, North East and Kitara have been pitted in group B.
The two provinces from each group will progress to the semi-final of this tournament.
According to FUFA, the date for kickoff of this tournament will be communicated at a later date.
