Federation of Uganda Football Association, (FUFA) has influenced a coming back of both Arua hills and Busoga United to the Uganda Premier League.

This was after FUFA directed Uganda Premier League secretariat to include Arua Hill and Busoga United on the 2023/24 season fixture

The two clubs were initially scrapped off the Uganda Premier League’s next fixtures after failing to submit minimum requirements as per club licensing but were called back on a condition.

The condition was that the managements and administrations of the clubs will undergo mentorship programs organized by FUFA at the cost of the clubs.

Arua hills SC had failed to prove that the Club’s CEO is Signotary to the Club account and proof that the players and coaches received their salary every three months.

For Busoga United, they had a similar issue but also failed to provide a physical office address, a qualified assistant coach and audited financial statements.

Despite both teams being excluded in Uganda’s Premier league next season by FUFA appeals committee, the committee gave both teams time to appeal which has been the case.

FUFA confirmed the development in the letters below;

FUFA had eliminated Arua hills SC from the Pilsner Super 8 tournaments roaster and included Soltilo Bright Stars.
