FUFA Big League: Jinja North welcome Mbarara City in search of their first season’s win

Mbarara City will play their second game in the  22/23 campaign of the FUFA Big League on Thursday evening away at Bugembe Stadium, Jinja against Jinja North United.

The Ankole lions kicked off the campaign with a win after a brace from Henry Kitegenyi and rocket by Sadat Nsubuga to down their visitors on the day Booma FC 3-1 win at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.

Mbarara City haven’t had good days away from home in the past six months will fancy their chances this time round with a couple of players who hold Uganda Premier League experience something that will give them an edge over their opponents on the day.

On the other side, Jinja North drew their first game away against Ndejje University, a match where many expected a number of goals but didn’t come.

The Jinja side’s strength lies in defending but the question on the day will be, “Will they be able to stop the Ankole lions?“.
