Former KIU Ragers’ Mary Amaniyo joins US Based UTEP Women’s Basketball Team.

Ugandan basketballer Mary Moses Amaniyo has joined the UTEP Women’s Basketball team in the United States.

She becomes the 3rd Ugandan to feature for the hammers, following successful stints with KIU Rangers and different national teams including 3X3 and U23 Gazelles.

Amaniyo has been impressive with KIU Rangers, as one of the leading scores she averaged 13.5 points and 10.7 rebounds last season.

Her contributions helped KIU Rangers reach the finals and semis in the last two seasons.

The former St Mary’s SS Kitende student joins fellow Ugandan and Gazelles teammate Abby Priscilla on the UTEP roster and her national team captain Jane Adinde who has also turned up for the team
