With the Uganda Premier league set to resume in November without fans, Uganda Premier league clubs have launched a joint campaign dubbed #WearYourLocalJersey.
In a presser held at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on Thursday morning, top clubs headed by Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club lauched the campaign that is aimed at increasing the revenue got from jersey sales for the local based
Seven teams( KCCA, Express, SC Villa, Wakiso Giants, Vipers SC and Police) we’re all in attendance
Speaking at the press, the FUFA deputy CEO, Humphrey Mandu termed the initiative as “good”.
“This is a very good intiative, we need to grow our game and brand visibility is a key element if we are to achieve that”
“Uganda football fans are urged to buy local merchandise from their various Ugandan Clubs and p wear them so as to promote and grow Ugandan football,” KCCA CEO, Muhoozi said during the press conference.
