Sheebah Karungi: musician gifts the Uganda U17 women’s team with Sanitary Pads


Ugandan music queen Sheebah Karungi under her Sheebah Establishments has gifted the Uganda U17 women’s team camp with Holic Pads .

On Thursday morning at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo, Sheebah handed over 1500 packets of Holic Pads  to the FUFA Executive committee member Ronnie Kalema who represented the FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo.

Speaking at the handover, Kalema was so grateful and  overwhelmed by Sheebah’s contribution

“We are grateful to the management of Sheebah establishments who manufacture these Holic Pads.” Kalema said before adding,

” Thank you Sheebah for this wonderful gesture  and you can see how excited these young girls and FUFA is grateful to associate with people like Sheebah”

Sheebah on the otherhand said he feels so proud seeing young women doing great things.

“I am so proud of you. I come from a back ground where i started working at 14 years. So I am so proud of you seeing young women doing big things for themselves and the country.”

“The reason I have bought you this is that  I want you to be comfortable even during your red days”

The U17 women’s team are due to face Cameroon in a two legged clash to find out who makes it to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup at yet confirmed date and venue after India pulled out due to the Coronavirus pandemic
