Fazila Ikwaput: Forward bids farewell to Kampala Queens

Fazila Ikwaput has bid farewell to Kampala Queens ahead of her return to Indian side Gokulam Kerala FC.

The 27 year old has managed to put together  three goals out of the four games played in the 2023/24 FUFA Women Super League season. 

She takes back experience and quality to the India based club ahead of their restart of a new season.
Gokulam Kerala currently lies in 6th position with 17 points out of 11 games. They have gathered 4 wins, 5 draws and 2 loses in the season.

As a player, Ikwaput is a tried and tested striker who has previously featured for Olila High School, Lady Doves, three stints a broad at BIIK Shymkent (Kazakhstan), Omonia Nicosia (Cyprus) and Gokulam Kerala FC.

Ikwaput is the first Ugandan player to play and score in the UEFA Women’s Champions League while at BIIK Shymkent of Kazakhstan.
